Unlearning Survival Love: Reclaiming Your Self-Worth and Choosing Yourself
When love has felt like survival, it’s easy to question your worth. To wonder if real, safe love even exists for you. But healing begins when you stop begging to be chosen and start choosing yourself. You are not too much. You are not too little.
You are love. And you deserve a connection that feels like coming home. Steady, safe, and real. It’s not too late to unlearn survival and to allow yourself to choose love that feels like belonging.

When Love Feels Like Survival- Healing The Wounds We Can’t See
What if the way you love- the way you chase, retreat, overthink, or shut down- isn’t a flaw, but a pattern your nervous system learned to survive?
So many of us carry attachment wounds we can’t always name, yet feel deeply. Maybe you’ve loved people who made your body feel on edge, like you had to earn your place. Maybe you’ve pushed love away before it had the chance to leave on its own. Maybe you’ve spent years wondering: “What’s wrong with me?”
The truth is: nothing is wrong with you.
This post is for the parts of you that learned protection before connection- survival before softness. It blends science, story, and soul to help you understand why love can feel like a fight- and how healing begins when you (yes, you) choose to give yourself the safety you’ve always needed.

A Letter for My Kids- And The One I Wish I Had Read
Sometimes it’s hard to find the words for the depth of love that we feel for our children. But we hope that when they’re older, they’ll read these words, or understand our actions, and feel the truth of them in why we did what we did.
As I wrote these words and reflected, I wondered - what if I had received a letter like this from my own parents? What if they had been able to put into words what their hearts have always carried?
This letter is for anyone. For anyone who has ever felt the absense of those words, those comforting reminders. Those who never heard the things we needed to hear, or who have lost a parent/caregiver along the way. This letter is a piece of the love we carry forward, the love that never truly goes away.

Am I Really Here, Again? Holding Space for Resurfacing Trauma with Compassion
In this blog post, we explore the concept of healing as a journey, not a destination. When old feelings and traumas (re)surface, it’s not a sign of failure- but an opportunity- an invitation to meet ourselves on a deeper level. By embracing these emotions with compassion and awareness, we can honor our growth while holding space for our younger selves. And move forward with grace. This post, using somatic approaches, invites you to reflect on your healing process and reminds you that you are not alone in navigating the complexities of self-discovery and self-love.
